Mount Annan - new opening times
From December 1st the gardens and the track will be open 8am to 7pm everyday.
Opening time is not super early but much better than 10am particularly during summer.
Extract track from Gardens website is -
•The Garden is open every day except Christmas Day.
•Opening and closing hours: Daily
1 December to 4 April (daylight saving) 8 am to 7 pm
5 April to 30 November (eastern standard time) 8 am to 5 pm
The times for the mountain bike trail have not been updated yet but ranger advised the track is open when the garden is open - they will fix the website.
Talking to a couple of rangers on Saturday who were watching the riders in Jetblack 24 going through the new section - they were non-riders but were excited about the track changes and the longer opening times as it will bring more people to the gardens.

Much better. I wonder if they have lost a few visitors due to the new track at Cecil Hills? And this is a move to compete better with it's opening hours.
Agreed. Much better hours.
I've only ridden the track a couple of times because of their opening hours. Riding after 10am in the western Sydney heat is something to be avoided!
