Watch out on duck and chiltern trails

Just a heads up that Chiltern and all of Duck are now legal horse trails again ( horses were locked out in the 80s).
The horsey community seem pretty excited for obvious reasons so expect more of them out on these trails and please slow down/stop for them...as in be aware!

Looks like Cowan is also open to hayburners. Smiling

However the lack of official NPWS logos on the sign has a few of of us wondering about its legitimacy. Can you confirm?

They are the new signs

The same ones are on most gates now including perimeter.
Any problems I suggest you contact the North Shore a Horse and Pony Association.
Plenty of riders using Chiltern and Duck... It's as exciting for horse riders as the new trails are for the new MTB trails...

I'll probably be out at those trails on the weekend. I haven't ridden Chiltern yet myself - first time for me.
