Hi
Im looking for a local place to practise doing some basic jumps on my mtb after work.
My bike is full suss and just would like to find something just outside the CBD and learn on a tabletop and some doubles to build my confidence on my old bones.
Considering Im 43yrs old I should know better but have the need to conquer the beast within.
Any help would be appreciated.

that's hard, I'm not sure there's anything that qualifies.
you could try Castle Cove which is kinda close, check out Castle Cove Riders on FB or more options at Oxford Falls .. Oxy Riders on FB

Haven't been on it for yonks, but it looked like it was getting a fair work out last weekend.

Terry Hills BMX track is a good place to start

as is the Grove

from there if you haven't hurt yourself by then you can move up to the jumps at Red Hill.

The BMX track isn't really a good place to learn if you have a full suspension MTB. The jumps are designed for BMXs. Sure there are table tops there but there all large and you will struggle to maintain speed on a full suspension bike!
