Amber/Some Issues

Rode from Nerang and back and a number of large and unavoidable puddles adorn Perim in the usual places through to the School, so Im calling it Amber, but after that and all the way out Long it is in good nick.

If you ride from Nerang you will be washing the bike. Otherwise start from the School or give it a few days.

Do you have more information?

I rode from the Jap school after spotting a couple of guys who'd ridden back via Nerang and whose bikes were covered in grunge.

All I can say is damn it was hot. The track seemed fast, although I was not. I got held up by a fire truck at the end of the trail. You'd think they'd pull over and let a guy on a Strava run through, wouldn't you? Alas, all I got was funny looks when I called "Strava!!". Eye-wink

It seemed they were holding a RFS training session at the end of the trail - 2 fire trucks and a 4WD from different stations.

is a term well and truly overused these days Hawkeye, but I absolutely did at your calling 'Strava' on an RFS truck.

I got out before it got too warm, but at least this weather should dry out the still sodden parts.
