Cascades update for 20 Jun

Area:
Cascades
Status:
Green/Open

Plenty of water about but still running clear and with the sandy base a quick hose had the bike clean.

With lots of the single trail in the area not holding up too well to this wet weather Cascades is a great spot for a challenging ride albeit fire trail.

Your post poses a good question for me then - roadie somewhere tomorrow or Cascades on the mounto...

It can get VERY wet down Cascades way...

Went for a walk around the new bits of Manly Dam today. Very wet. NSFR (Not suitable for riding).

I'll be out on the roadie tomorrow, Akuna Bay and West Head.

Hear ya. Akuna and West Head sounds like a plan.

I need to buy a roadie *shock horror*

To yourself a favour, sl, and get a singlespeed. All your gear trashing woes go away...well mostly. Eye-wink

I rode one of those belt drive singlespeed things for a few months awhile back. Was fine around Terrey Hills. Manly Dam not so much.

Nothing a teaspoon, teaspoon and a half of cement wouldn't fix, hawkeye. Laughing out loud
