OTB and somehow manage to smash shin against shifter then rock. Rather annoying!

Here's that bent shifter and how the arm looked after this little mishap:

So which section were you riding that reacquainted you with your shifters and the floor?

Yeah, maybe this is why I don't do Red Hill so often. Eye-wink

No, I will be back, it was fun! Laughing out loud There were rocks and stuff - it was all good. We'd done quiet a lot of stuff, climbing, hucking, etc, etc. It was like a 10Km trials course - loving it. I haven't been to Red Hill for ages and can ride a lot better than when I was last there. Erm... maybe! Eye-wink

I saw the dip and knew I was screwed if the front wheel went in there. No worries I thinks and up comes the front to lift over it. Don't know what happened - think maybe a rock caught the rear and slapped the front down into this dip and OTB.

FWIW, this is the first crash in like... erm... maybe forever that elbow/shin guards would have helped. Prior to this I've been smashing my shoulders and thighs and stuff like that.

Oh well.

Some impromptu thing arranged at short notice. Sorry... I almost went out alone (although Red Hill wouldn't have been the venue for that)!

... so... just where was your armour? Unless your crazy like one of the roid boys that comes to mind, who in their right mind doesn't wear armounr at Red Hill? So, is a Judge on the shopping list yet?
