Mistress A- line closed for works?

Hi all,

I rode The Mistress on Tuesday and the A-line was blocked with a wheel barrow. Just wondering if there's work on the a-line and it is closed or if it was left there / moved there by mistake?

Great work on the trail by the way.... I'm still trying to figure out the flow on that top section.... Particularly that small drop; the gap in the rock beforehand has me concerned that I'm not going to be able to keep the front wheel up and will do a massive OTB at speed. How are others hitting this? Slow and roll or speed and huck?

I probably just need to take my own riding advice.... More speed and lean back!

Hi Dan
I dont think it is closed...I rode the A Line earlier today and it was open. The wheelbarrows are locked to the tree near the entrance of A Line and maybe somebody had moved them. I agree with your suggestion...more speed and lean back

Speed is your friend on 90% of that trail. Lay off the brakes, and roll your weight back a bit - not too far though, you only need to just do enough to ensure the front wheel doesnt drop. Almost like doing a 'manual' with a bit of speed.
Just imagine the gap is a puddle, and not a wheel-swallowing nightmare hole - your aim is to keep your shins dry.
You'll fly through it.

Good luck.
