Nothing better than 'edgy' shots of bikes... well... maybe 'edgy' shots of them being ridden! Eye-wink

"edgy still life"

Hehe. Yeah a photo with me on it on a killer trail somewhere would definitely be better but that couldn't be arranged unfortuntely. Sticking out tongue

In fact, bar a quick Dam lap a couple of weeks ago, i've not had a chance to get out on any bike for a good couple of months now... Sad

Pass the tissues.

5.5 + pike = fun

Submitted by starship303 on Wed, 11/06/2008 - 10:29.

Yeah i love the Pikes, they work a treat on the 5.5 frame, really match up well. Having a taller axle-to-crown height than other options means they slacken the head angle slightly too which is what i was after. It also meant i could shorten the cockpit (running a Thomson 70mm X4 stem) without adversly affecting the steering reactions. Really don't know why more people (in the US at least) don't run these frames with Pikes.

hahaha very good i think 5.5 is a real speed machine.

Well its only a speed

Submitted by starship303 on Tue, 02/09/2008 - 18:14.

Well its only a speed machine when the muppet on it is fast enough...

Hey Adrian, you deal in Intense now don't you? Are you able to get me a price for a 5.5 decal set?? PM me if you like.
Looking at replacing the one thats on the Intense at the moment with the newer, cleaner looking design. I inquired about some through Comp. Cyclist but the postage was crazy so didn't go through with it.

Cheers,
