About

The Bago Bluff MTB Marathon will Start at the beautiful Bago Vineyard, only 20km west of Port Macquarie on the Mid North Coast of NSW, options will be 10 km, 50 km & 100km distances through both purpose built single track & rough, rocky MTB style fire roads on top of the Bago Bluff that will challenge all riders depending on the speed you ride.
There are special discounts to enter for the ladies!

Race Schedule

The event schedule will be confirmed in the official event program but for purposes of planning, below is a typical schedule for the Bago Bluff MTB Marathon. We will only deviate from this schedule if case of any unforeseen circumstances.

SATURDAY 5th March
1:00pm: Campsite open
5:00pm: Registration opens (All riders)
9:00pm: Registration closes

SUNDAY 6th March
6:00am: Registration Opens
6:45am: All 50km and 100km riders report to start line (Race Briefing)
7:00: 100km Race Start
7:15am: 50km Race Start
7:45am: All 10km riders report to start line (Race Briefing)
8:00am: 10km Race Start
1:30pm: Results and prize-giving (All 10km, 50km and 100km Age Categories)

Getting There

The start & finish will be in the Bago Vineyards 20km West of Port Macquarie. The easiest way to get there is to take the Bago rd exit from the Pacific Hwy & follow the signs to the vineyard.

Camping

Timbertown are offering camping for those wanting to rough it out with camping available on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights if required @ $5.00 per person per night. These spots will be limited, so get in quick.
Timbertown have a large grassed area along with sealed areas for those possibly with a caravan or similar to camp. Four new shower/toilet amenity blocks will be located within this area.
Camping will be near the entry into Timbertown and covers approx 8 acres directly opposite
IGA supermarket ,shops and Tavern.
