If you can't ride it, take the easier option!

Regarding the person who placed rocks on the left hand climb/approach to the golf course rock at the Dam. If you find that line too difficult, I suggest you take the easy option on the right hand side until you're skilled enough to tackle the A line.

The rocks placed there to 'assist' the step up, actually makes it more difficult as it's loose and badly placed. It's a quite simple step up without the assistance of rocks, IF you can get your technique right.

Please don't ruin things for the majority, just to suit your own skill deficiencies.

I hope you picked up the rock . Threw it appropriately at the nearest Emu so it can chase you to check if you have a bell on your bike, and had another go.

I'll just throw it back Sticking out tongue

I got caught by something similar a few weeks ago. On the extension to Kevin Costner, somebody put some extra sticks on the downramp on the other side of the log rollover. They moved.

Front wheel got caught up and turned, and I went OTB, sustaining a nicely corked thigh, which ended the ride a few km later. I had to take a most of the week off the bike icing the thigh just when I was looking to ramp up the intensity in prep for the Glenrock leg of the Shimano GP. Sad

I can't tell you the number of Strava KOMs I've thrown away when I've stopped to remove dumbing down additions. You can't turn a blind eye to that stuff. Always seems to happen when I'm on the run of my life, hence no KOMs for me.

As for the line up moon rock, that line on the left IS the b-line.

Whoever is doing the mods, get some skills. Have a crack. It's timing and body position that'll get you up it. Or just go right and enjoy the ride.

So that's the b-line? I figured the b-line was the easy (standard) line to the right of the bushes. The A-line covered all the area to the left.
