Specialized Carve Pro Frame Warranty Rejected
I have a 6 years old Specialized Carve Pro, which I took into me local bike shop (the same bike shop I purchased it from) to report a crack in the Frame Chain Stay. The bike was assessed by Specialized and I have been informed that my warranty claim has been rejected.
I am a 6 foot 7 rider and I like to have fun out there on the trails and I am the first to admit that the bike had a few marks, abrasions and the usual bangs , which I kinda expect because I didn't but this bike to stay on the tarmac. I ride fire trail and single track, nothing gravity defying.. I am a bit too much of a woos to that stuff).
Anyways I am really not sure what to do next, I would appreciate any suggestions. I am planning to request a confirmation from my store about on what grounds the claim was rejected and take the case up to Specialized directly.
