Just received my rear tire for the 8hr @ Stromlow and what a corker weighing in at a scant 420grams for a UST tire Incredible!!.Looks fast just sitting there can't wait to test it out Oh it's a Schwalbe Furious Fred if your wondering

that tear open at the sight of a rock that's the biggest problem, make sure you carry a spare tyre or 2 for 8hrs Steve. Smiling

Are those Juicy Ultimates with red anno bolts? Eh? They come with Ti bolts standard so what gives there? Eye-wink

I have always found Stromlo to be very slippery. Especially with that thin gritty top later of dirt. I think you will find your new tyre very slippery indeed. Quite so, on the fast corners. And Stromlo is a real rock garden in places. I hope your tyre are up to it mate. Smiling At least it's the rear.

That's a fast tyre for hard pack trails, loose over hard pack like stromlo not so much.
