Vanina and i resting after climbing to Col de Bavella in Corsica. it was a 45km climb to 1250m. made that much harder by the +35 degree day and no wind. Fantastic place to ride though. I will be back with Mtb though.

Those pics are stunning mate! Looks like you 2 had a great time in a great location, and don't forget the superb weather!

So are you fit and ready for the little hills of Sydney?

and back is the training ride that Vanina, Supagav and I did last week and there are 2 hill stories that stand out, the first is the Hawkesbury lookout climb from Shaws creek to the lookout, my best time is 9m 52s (Um in 1988) anyhow Gav takes off like a scared cat and Vanina also takes off fast with me in chase, about half way up the hill we pass a guy who was doing quite well but obviously hurting, I think he nearly fell off his bike on the second look when he realied he'd just been passed by a GIRL Shocked Times at the top were Gav 9m 35s Groover 10.35 Vanina 11.05 with only 2 years riding experience she's one to watch.
Hill climb 2 Boddington at Wentworth Falls Vanina again setting an uncomfortable pace takes on Boddington, I'm riding behind with Gavin and reading out my heart rate that it takes to keep up with her 164 168 174 178 180 at which point I went for the sprint 186 bpm to pass her! Phew. We had a great day and will include Megalong next time when the trains are running to the Mountains.
Cheers Smiling

Nothing worse than getting left for dead on a hill when you think you're putting in a fine effort...
Vanina sounds like a machine!

Next time post the ride and you'll have more riders! I'm keen to ride up your way, I'm sure there'll be 1 or 2 more...
