Andos (de)grading!!!

I’d finally got some courage and since I needed some more training before the Angry Doctor I did the Oaks + Andos (all the way up) this Saturday and to my surprise Andos is being graded pretty much like Oaks was.
I don’t know if it’s because of the soil difference or if the work is much worse this time, but the first 10 Ks (near Woodford) are terrible to ride as the surface is extremely soft and loose and even going downhill towards the creeks crossing was tough (It was so soft that I had to actually pedal downhill in order to get some speed).
I know this is a fire trail and I should not be complaining about this, but this is more of a warning as the conditions there are really poor and in some places even dangerous for the unadvised.

Anyway, this is my profile for this ride and I must add that going uphill after the creeks with 20cm of sand/sofsoil is almost impossible.

Cheers,

Leo.

PS: To make matters worse, I passed a couple of times by 3 guys in motorbikes destroying what was left of a good line. If only my mobile had some signal I could have done something about this.

I was going to make a post about this, the whole bedford creek trail from the gate at Murphy's Glen down then up to the Ingar fire trail is like that. It was pretty tough getting some grip going up & staying balanced going down! It's so soft that I believe the rain is going to wash everything off soon...
So you're saying that the Andos has also been graded a bit? damn Sad how much of it ?

Rode it today from wentworth falls. The downhill to the creek is very nasty at the moment. It has been graded but not rolled. Pretty much like riding on a ploughed field. NPWS were heading in with the roller today. The climb up to Woodford from the creek has now been rolled and is rideable all the way up. Give it a week or two and the western side should be rolled and much more fun (although not as much as before). I also noticed some idiots had been in there on trailbikes and had torn the track up.
