Perimeter Trail Condition?Submitted by Rob on Sat, 13/09/2008 - 20:29.
It's likely I will be taking a newbie buddy on a ride at Terrey Hills tomorrow (Sep 14) so ask the question... Did anyone ride there in the last week or so and was the Perimeter wet? There was a lot of rain last weekend, but I'm imagining it will be OK in most spots by now, can anyone say otherwise? Cheers! P.S. Yeah, yeah - I would post a newbie ride, but... said buddy is a little bad with clocks so doubt we will be sticking to any particular time, and as is complete beginner who knows how long this will take! |
Perimeter + Long Trail [was] dry enough to ride...

I was on Perimeter + Long Trail on Friday with my S.O. and the riding conditions were great!
A beautiful warm spring day...wild flowers are out everywhere, a dry-ish track with just some minor remnant puddles where the road surface is more clay-based - but easy to get around.
Should be OK for you guys tomorrow - and also for the upcoming night-ride on Wednesday! Enjoy!
BTW - we started from the Japanese school - (I like the bit of single track at the start ...and we also wanted to avoid the ever-present run-off from the horse-stables + sewage across the track when starting from the TH end.)
