Well done flynny. I like the view from behind the bike. shows you how hard the bike rear end really does work. Where is it shoot? the track looks very good.

CH6 on hassans walls. One of the best rock gardens ever.

The behind shot worked ok but not as good as I hoped it would. I'm trying to rig something that allows the the camera to remain parallel with the ground while the bike is being lent over. Just need to play with counter weights so it doesn't jump around so much

Gee Leon, I know some Farkin dudes that would be interested in stuff like that for their helmet cam. Sounds brilliant. Laughing out loud

Counterweights, even with some sort of damping, will give you only a marginal improvement. I think what you really need is some sort of bolt on gyro unit.

The high-speed flywheel in the gyro unit will resist tilting movements quite effectively. Gyros are what they used on the original Steadycam, and are what keep the artificial horizon in aircraft instrument panels on the correct plane regardless of the aircraft's attitude.

Just a thought...

Cheers Leon,

I'm recording to CF but had the MDVR taped to the seat. I think the bit of picture loss was cause by me sitting on it....
