Winter Chain Lube

Hi all. Can anyone recommend a great chain lubricant that works well all year round? I used to be a big fan of Rock n' Roll but i found through winter that it went pear shaped. In the cold weather the particles within seperate from the liquid a bit like a Coopers Pale Ale. The when you apply it is kind of crappy. (During a warm summer day it's fine). Warming the bottle in the microwave or down the front of my pants for 10 mins did help but was a hassle (and sometimes looked weid!). I looked at White Lightning and it looks like it might be subject to the same problem. I suspect what i need is a lube that is a great lube but less of a cleaner, and i can just clean seperately with a cleaner. ??

Used White Lightning this winter. 150km per week commuting almost all weathers. No problems, although I did miss the worst of the yuk weather due to (non-cycling) injury and a bit of illness.

I have used rock 'n' roll, I have used White lighting
but....Prolink Gold is just soooo much better wet or dry conditions
never had any issue, doesn't pick up crap. I won't even bother trying anything else

thanks for the tips so far boys. however the problem is actually the cold temperatures affecting the lub in the bottle, not wet conditions or even what happens after i apply the lube. you see in summer the sediment in rock n roll gets into solution well and is hardly noticeable (like how a coopers beer looks fine after you turn the bottle over a couple times. in winter it becomes more coarse and doesn't really mix in (like sand in a water bottle). nobody noticed? maybe i got a bad batch from the store or soemthing??

I get the same effect with Rock'n'Roll, but it still seems to work OK if you shake it up - goes on OK and lasts the usual time (ie not too long if it's wet).

White Lightning is much worse in the winter, it solidifies when it hits the cold chain and doesn't seem to get in.

Hmm. Weird. I've not had those issues with White Lightning. However, from force of habit I *always* shake the container *thoroughly* before I apply it - a legacy of a long time messing about with nitro model engine fuels.
