I sold my R1 to spend more time on my Bicycles! OH...and so that I don't get caught speeding(by cops). That bike did 165kph in 1st gear!! I think I made the right decision?

Bicycles are just as much fun if not more and probably better for your health / life my days of winding up to 270kmh (highly modified ZX7R) are gladly behind me.

Now I can only spin my single speed in 1st and only gear up to about 30kmh without the assistance of a hill.

there is NO reason why you boys can't do both...
who knew we had so many real roadies among us, although Dez seems to be the only one still riding...

Those days are in the past for now but never say never. A Ducati sport classic is always on the bottom of the wish list.

It is a tragedy. I swapped my full leathers for knicks.

Now I think of it, what have I done Shocked

Christine, I'm another road rider. I ride to work every day on a 1 litre Triumph sports bike, also insanely fast (but ridden like a grandma). I have 4 motorbikes in the garage and I three are road legal and ridden regularly, the other is the pocketbike you find such a turn on Smiling

I never feel the need to go fast on any on the road because there simply isn't any point, there is nothing to prove. I get all my kicks off road on my bicycle, hoon'ing down hills out of control and close to serious injury!* If it wasn't for my cycling I would probably be a lot more reckless on the roads, so see.. cycling off road make you a safer driver/rider on the road, probably.

*not to be taken literally
