p.s. it is actually better than internet explorer. Smiling
p.p.s. anyone wanna buy a pro carbon enduro?

Buck's picture

you selling your Enduro Gazza? What are you getting in its place?

delicious's picture

Once again I was poking fun with the English language thing. Spelling and grammar is important to me though. Look at it like a hobby. Reading and literature and all that.
And Gazza, are you really selling your Enduro?

kurt's picture

You guys need Hugs

and tell us the price GAZZA

Stuart M's picture

We all know how much you've crashed it

Let there be light

Brian's picture

I think GAZZA has seen Tien's new ride and wants one Eye-wink (I know I did)

GAZZA's picture

ive hardly ridden it in the last 9 months and its going to waste. i'm looking at putting the money towards a super stealthy cross country machine seeing as thats what kind of riding im doing at the moment. maybe even a nice hardtail? we'll see. if i had lots of money i'd keep the thing as, ive said on many occasions that its probably the best bike i've ever ridden.
and stuart, p..s off! anyway, it was the big hit i dropped. this thing has never been crashed. my confidence after the crash saw that i never rode this thing to its full potential.

Beany's picture

Gazza, an Enduro sounds like what I need now I'm getting more adventurous and into being rough.

You sound like you like it rough as well. Any chance of test ride.

PM me.

Stuart M's picture

I have a super stealthy sxc hardtail that may just be up your alley, I also have a "race proven" carbon hardtail bike you may be interested in.

You could probably talk me into a straight swap, if you were polite!

Let there be light

Little-Ditty's picture

The plot thickens.

Gazza, go big mate. It is the new Atomik or A-Line that you wanted to buy! Smiling

Alex's picture

i got a "trouble free" session 77 if your interested mate? Eye-wink
theres a good site around for you too delicious check it out http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=b...

low brow but weve come to expect that from me Smiling

*note to sysop .. dont pull it its not that bad lol*

christine's picture

tell the truth - you are giving up off road 'real riding' and becoming a fully fledged SCUMMER! The Dark Side has absorbed you...
Next you will be selling your Epic as well....

Brian's picture

He's already thought about that here http://nobmob.com/node/6361

christine's picture

isn't it? so disappointed in him....

GAZZA's picture

you have it all wrong. Im keeping the epic(for now anyway) i just dont see the point in having an 8grand bike sat gathering dust. Ive hardly touched it in the last 9 months and dont want it to depreciate anymore in value. I might as well sell it and put the money towards something i'll actually use. I'll miss it very much and if i had the money i'd keep it.

christine's picture

what a relief that you haven't COMPLETELY gone over to the dark side... I had visions of you flouncing about in Turramurra wear before long...
What with all the talk of bike prices going up maybe you won't lose much on your Enduro at all but you know, if you wanted to pop back over to Red Hill again you would find a fabulous use for it again and again and again...we - as in all the OFF road riders - miss your company you know Smiling

GAZZA's picture

to red hill a while ago from home but was on the epic. Wasn't as much fun as the enduro. Ill try and get out for a ride soon. If them bloody night rides didn't finish so late i'd come out on one. I wanted to come on the brisbane water ride but think ive got a road race on sunday. Will have to catch up very soon.

christine's picture

i keep forgetting about the Stinky and doing it on Mildred...shall try to remember to swap bikes next time i go up there...I was shocked at the difference between the two bikes when I did the downhill at Oxford Falls on the Epic, not nearly as much fun hey!

Damien's picture

Why would you do a road race on Sunday when there is a perfectly good 4hr on at Yellowmundee.

christine's picture

although he keeps denying it, action speak louder than words and he really has gone to the dark side...
we mourn for the loss of gazza/george

GAZZA's picture

do you think i'm doing all this road riding and racing? Its to get better results on my mtb. Im not lost, im just at training camp!

Gary's picture

Just before he started poncing about on Le Tour.

Damien's picture

Road riding is great for fitness and makes the time you do get to spend on the dirt all that more enjoyable but to chose it over a mountain bike ride I dont know about that.Smiling

Stuart M's picture

but I want you to ponder over this question.

Is the journey about the destination or the fun you have along the way? For me it is definitely (is that right delicious?) about the fun I have along the way. What's the point of getting better results if you have to suffer all those car fumes along the way, or are you just trying to convince yourself of the reason for all this "cross" training?

Now back on topic, I take it your silence re my generous offer of a straight swap indicates a lack of interest. Alright then, if you insist, you can give me some money to sweeten the deal

Let there be light

craigs's picture

Tell us how much...
You should benefit a little from the price rises, good luck.

Make sure you post up your road race results..

delicious's picture

Some of you may not know that the entire bike industry has increased prices. For 2009, The Enduro is only available as a Comp which I think is $5800, an Expert which is most definitely a whopping $7300 and the S-Works which is a mind bending $10500. For those of you who care I'll confirm those numbers if necessary yet I'm pretty good at remembering/quoting prices. The first two have Fox 150mm TALAS forks and the S-Works has the Specialized fork. All three feature the Specialized AFR shock.
What all this means is that there is no such thing as a Pro Carbon for 2009. And only the one model with that fork. So Gazza ought to get good money for his bike. Bike sales are good, I can assure everyone, so financial crisis or not, someone out there will want his bike.

Jee10's picture

Gazza...you're making a mistake!

ar_junkie's picture

Scalpel Gazza... Eye-wink

Stuart M's picture

My money is on him following my lead down the route of a custom hardtail build. It's about the only bike I haven't seen him buy / ride

Let there be light

ar_junkie's picture

Is where is @...
Eye-wink

Stuart M's picture

go that far, but maybe its the only way he'll get a bike lighter than the Viper he turned down Eye-wink

Let there be light

GAZZA's picture

i'll bet you ten dollars for every 100 grams lighter my new bike is than yours.

Damien's picture

Take the gears off and you could make a few dollars there Gazza.

Bernd's picture

... dont get Gazza to take his Gear of!!
"i'll bet you ten dollars for every 100 grams lighter my new bike is than yours."
that is a good bet! Look forward to the result and what Gazza is getting.......
Bernd
