Ok, i am going to go from Cascades to St Ives Oval to Duck and Centre and back again – anyone fancy doing this with me? I am thinking this will be my last 'long' ride before the Dirtworks - If Paul twist my arm I may consider adding in going down Ryland and around the perimeter as well but not sure about extending it that much..!!!
Roid boys need NOTreply as this will be a Blondie training ride at Blondie speed...I will stop somewhere for a snack too!
i am guessing this ride will end up being about 35ks? or 40? In fact, I have no idea, it will probably feel endless. lol!

but they are the nice roidies who are capable of doing slower rides so thats ok - anyway, if they really 'bond' they can always ride off ... or do extra laps and hill repeats coming back to the normal riders!!

no emergency plan - unless its raining so much we are going to get washed away down cascades i will still be riding this but Jo is praying for nice weather so I hope that works..

Weren't you supposed to be on the dirtworks training ride? Is there something I should know? Or are you just being soft. And, yes I am concerned about the distance and pace of the ride.

Blondie and all,
I'm really sorry but I can't make this ride now. Yesterday I managed to pull a calf muscle on a run and worse still have wrecked my lower back to the point where I could barely walk yesterday. Don't know how, have never had back problems before.
It's better today and I've just had a massage (ooh-er!) but I need to be sensible. I really don't want to miss a weekend of riding at this stage so will have to try and make up for it next weekend. I suppose it's just as well I didn't to it 2 weeks from now....
