US shipping facility available
If anyone is wanting to purchase items from the US, I have a facility setup with MyUS in Florida.
You can use this to buy any items that require a local address. This includes eBay and shops.
Any number of shipments from multiple sources can be consolidated and sent to Australia as one package.
It's only cost effective for larger items - minimum shipping cost is about US$50, but a complete frame is only $120 ish.

MyUS records the shipment value on the documentation as the combined value of the individual packages as stated by the sender. Australian customs normally charges 10% GST IF the package value is $1000 or more (otherwise there is no charge). Bear this in mind for a large order.

How do warranties work with ordering through MyUS?
This would be on items like frames or full bikes etc. not fussed about components and the likes. Great concept otherwise, and thanks for the offer Nic.
I just paid nearly a grand getting my Yeti shipped over here 8 weeks ago. Ouch!
As far as the supplier/manufacture is concerned, you have purchased the item in the US - just the same as if you were on holiday there.
If the bike/frame breaks, you would need to persuade them to send you a new one (photos) or ship the frame back. Different manufactures have different policies.
