Anyone interested in a circut combining Duck Holes, Waratah (out and back) and Centre Trails on Sunday 22nd morning? I'm thinking meet at Terrey Hills shops at 8:30am. I hope that it will not be more than 2.5 hours (depending on mechanicals).

Hope to be able to wear favourite knicks.....

I should be able to be there. Can these trails be linked up with long track (asking for me not for the ride).

Should be about 30Km I'd reckon for 2.5 hours but with stops and so on more like 25Km.
I need to do more k's and time so will try to link up a few other tracks before or after.
So will either extend this ride or saturdays.

Am thinking of getting there earlier on Sunday before the ride starts to do some extra kms (in case anyone else is interested).

Hi, how earlier were you thinking? I want to do some extra kays and was going to ride cascades and then pedal up to Terrey Hills.
We could blast out perimeter trail to the look out and back in maybe 90mins??
That would be a 7:00am start at Terrey Hills.

Rain is predicted but that doesnt bother me....

What do you think?

7am sounds good. Should be fine to do the out and back in 90mins I think.

Bloody rain.... doesn't matter that much I guess.

ok cool see you at 7. Rain doesnt matter it washes the sweat away.
I vote we take the road down to the japanese school to avoid the bog after rain.

Right now weather is very wet and very windy ie branches dropping and can't see for the rain. Not great for a social ride. If tomorrow looks the same, then social riders (those not desperately training for Fling) may decide to benefit from a sleep-in and a good cooked breakfast. So.... if you are not that keen to get wet, don't fret. There will be another ride on these tracks in the next couple of weeks.

If you don't want to get wet on the coast but still want a social ride please feel free to join us at the Oaks

If I read right, Celia, you are still going...I have messaged Chistine that I am still going.
Weather report doesnt look that bad and it could rain at the fling so I figure its all good practice.
I'd like to know how much to wear to keep warm and any other handy tricks that might help get through.

Ah rain rain and move of it althoug we did see the sun peaking through here and there. A long ride for everyone with 28kms done for the main group and Craig did well over 50kms with his extended bit, which is fantastic.
Thanks for coming everyone!

Thanks for the ride Craig. Was nice to push myself a bit. Glad I stopped when I did though, my ankle was nicely swollen by the time I got home, so stopping early was the smart option. Sorry I missed out on the rest of the ride though.

It was a good ride after you left too - rain, cold, sun, HILLS!!! (did I mention HILLS?)!!
If you had a sore ankle after your ride you would have been in lots of pain at the end - Craig did 55ks!
I had a great time everyone, Thank you!
