Awaba

Hi all, I just completed a visit today of Awaba and I can highly recommend a visit. Well worth it. Sweet single track through rolling country, well maintained, not at all technical so ideal for newbies cruising to experts wanting to fly around a circuit fast. Excellent sign posting. No big climbs, just snaking ascents. However, in these damp conditions, the trail can trip up the unwary. I lost it twice (front wheel) and hit 2 trees (rather large chaps), one upright, the other lying on the ground. I took some photos from the phone, so Rob I can email these to you if you'd like to add them to the image library. There is a DH course too. Didn't try this. There is no risk of hikers, horse riders, Motor Cross, etc. Signs clearly say STAY AWAY. Highly recommend this. Maybe Awaba in the morning and Ourimbah in the afternoon and then back to Sydney.

Yeah, you should be able to post pictures here (in the Awaba gallery):

Or drop them in an email and see what I can do Eye-wink

Glad you enjoyed it. The trail is rapidly expanding as well, so when you come next time there will be more to ride.

Has anyone ridden at awaba this week?

just wondering how much rain has fallen out there?

I have heard that the top few mm of soil is wet with concrete under it. Weather has been good today though so I am guessing it would be super tacky at the moment.
