Big training ride epic...
Okay I know this sounds like a big ride...thats right its going to be 60km of joy!
After the Galston Gorge, we hit tar on Quarry Rd and head for Castle Hill via Round Corner on the Old North Rd, we get off at Gilbert Rd and take some parks, and backstreets to get to Fred Caterson Reserve.
There are some hidden gems of single tracks here, plus the trails within the reserve proper and the BMX track, which is always good for burning excess energy.

Kincumber ride Sunday the 15th
Kincumber Reserve
Alright! Mind is made up!!
Kincumber it is!
The "new track advisors" are telling me it has both nice XC and DH parts. For this ride I would like to do more of the XC and actually do some 'riding' .
Meaning yes we will do the DH jumps (or at least two of us and it's not me ) and tricks but won't spend much time on playing and picture taking at each spot.
(Of course only to have more time for lunch after
I hope that suits everyone.
Can't wait!!!
Cheers

GNR Fun (was Mini DW)
Wisemans Ferry. Meet on this side of the East ferry. Park near little shop close to the ferry crossing.
Slight change of plan...
Not many people put up their hand for a Mini DW (read: "epic") and after a bit of chat on recent rides, and the fact distance events are over for a while we decided to tone this one down a bit. The new route becomes:
Meet Wisemans Ferry. Cross on East Ferry. Ride up Devines Hill (see below).
Decision 1: Ride down then up Shepherds Gully... votes on the day win Think ahead (see Decision 2) before voting
Ride the 'main event' - brilliant technical trail to junction with Western Commission Track.
Careflight Classic 2007
TBD... Registration is at Woodford Station.
Hi Everyone,
Just wanted to get this one on the radar for those of us who have put in for this ride. For those who haven't put the entires in for this ride entries close on the 17th June. It should be a nice cruisy day out!
From what I can gather (any my information package is at home)
- Registration is at the Woodford Train station at 9.30 - send your entry from in first.
- "Ride" starts at 10am and ends in Euroka
Kincumba downhill and exploration goodness : )
End of Bronzewing Dr, Kincumber.
It appears we have interest in checking out Kincumba Mountain. Sounds like a nice place to ride. I am always open for riding "new trails". And it looks like we could probably fit in a couple of laps too, if it only takes 20 minutes to ride back up to the top. I will be happy to lead from the back!
The approximate area to ride, as shown on Google Maps, is:

As previously posted a big day out of fun training for Coffs Harbour...

Should have a good level of fitness and ability to keep up all day.
Pace should be medium to allow all day riding.
Be prepared to buy lunch somewhere and bring plenty food water and warm clothing.
Usual bike kit applies.
Hope to see you there

Oxford Falls
Oxford Falls
Having ridden Oxford Falls on the weekend and enjoyed it, I am thinking another tour is in order. It has certainly been a while - a month or two? And it seems to be the trail in the best condition too.
I intend this ride to be for all comers. So this means you!
If we experience rain on the day, I am unlikely to go. Too much bike maintenance is required. But I will post a cancellation on the morning if this happens. Meet at the dirt carpark on Morgan Road.
I hope to see you all there. Call my mobi on 0438 885 410 with lateness.
