It was a cool and foggy morning (the view from the lookout as I drove past was amazing. . . you were above the clouds and thats all you could see). My warm up consisted mostly of sitting on my bike chatting and I can live with that. The social aspect is a key draw card for me participating in these events.

Not my best day, but it's all about getting out there. And on the funny side of things; I washed out the front, crashing right in front of the timing tent Sticking out tongue (apparently I was the third person to do this).

Some bench is seating available located at the end. The old farmhouse was once located where this structure now resides - new for old!

Shade just in time for summer

A brand new covered area with bench seating just located right of the new toilet block not far from the large car park area (open on race days only).

Finally, if nature calls, no need to resort to dashing into the bushes anymore.

Ride Database Entry:
Yellomundee Regional Park
Meeting Point:
There's a car park (click for foggy picture) on Springwood Road - just down the way from Hawkesbury Heights if you're looking for a suburb name.
-33.663669, 150.656361 (Hawkesbury Rd)

Upcoming advocacy events would normally appear here, but things are a little quiet at the moment and it's empty.

Don't be shy - this is a community site so if you're out there working post your meeting.

Following on from the wildly successful inter-agency weekend lantana lash of a few weeks ago, I present to you the mid week "Turgid" lantana lash. This is to enable those shift workers that are off during the week to get fair up it. Meeting at the Shaw's Farm gate at 0900 hrs to rendezvous with Glassy, Danny and Vickii we will proceed to tear the stinking lantana a new one! Duration of play will be approximately 4 hours, but if you can't stay that long, worry less. You are free to depart at your whim.
