2014 Tathra MTB Enduro
Tathra Country Club, Tathra Bermagui Rd, Tathra, NSW
The best singletrack you are ever going to experience by the Sea.
In its fourth year the Tathra MTB Enduro offers 10km, 20km, 50km and 100km events for single track lovers.
The event challenges your fitness and skills but rewards all finishers with the opportunity of an post event cool ocean recovery session.
Entries open in December 2013.
And for those who like to reduce the impact of their "wheel print" - it's good to know proceeds from the Enduro go towards renewable energy projects in the community.

We are going to do a lap of Woodford Dam then over the highway, ride the single track and maybe out via Terrace Falls.
WSMTB Club XC Championships
There's a car park (click for foggy picture) on Springwood Road - just down the way from Hawkesbury Heights if you're looking for a suburb name.
POSTPONED - due to uncertainty in local fire situation. We will run it in early Dec - date to be advised when confirmed with NPWS.

The WSMTB Club XC Championship race will be held at Yellomundee Regional Park on Sunday 27 Oct. See www.wsmtb.com XC page for details. U10s at 8.30am, U13s at 9am, and U15s and Seniors at 9.30am. Rego from 8am to 8.50am sharp.
Note that while all riders are welcome to race and podium, only WSMTB members can be the Club Champion.
Knapsack XC ride

Following a GPX link I downloaded into the Garmin for first lap. After that will probably do more laps or just explore for a couple more hours. Trying to get some km's in after 5 week illness so not looking to stop too often but won't be a cracking pace either. I suspect somewhere between the 15-20km/hr mark on average

Royal National Park Trail Maintenance

Sorry - cancelled due to staff being called away to deal with bushfires.
Royal National Park trail days currently take place every 3rd Saturday of the month, 9am, meeting at the Royal NP Area Office (on Farnell Ave).
The days generally involve track maintenance works and the purpose is a partnership between NPWS and mountain bike riders to undertake works to allow the continued sustainable use of the tracks for mountain bike riders.
Upper Mangrove to Wisemans Ferry Return
Mangrove Mountain shops, corner of Wisemans Ferry and Waratah Roads
Easy pace ride of about 60km:
From the meeting point drive down Waratah Road to Upper Mangrove.
From Upper Mangrove ride to Wisemans Ferry via Dubbo Gully, Donnys Trail, Old Great North Road, Western Commission Track and Wisemans Ferry Road.
Return trip will be along Old Great North Road (up Devines Hill) and down Simpsons Track from Ten Mile Hollow to Dubbo Gully then back to Upper Mangrove.
