Quite a few puddles about, especially on the uphill side of every waterbar - but nothing to be concerned about. The bike stayed remarkably clean during the ride & had no worries tossing in into the back of the car afterwards.
Interestingly, I passed a couple of crazy guys riding full road bikes (complete with drop bars & skinny tyres) down along Bare Ck Track.
Anyone from here, perhaps? Did you lose a bet or something?
