the new machine :)
Just tried the new stumpy 29er XXL up around terry hills did about 30clicks on duck holes/perimeter/long today and wow, what a difference from the old hard tail/26er (Giant Alias)
such a smooth and plush ride, triad rear is a godsend and the Reba fronts are so much better than my old Marzocchi's, it's awesome.
love it!
Cascades update for 10 Oct
Was expecting a lot more water this afternoon, but trail was surprisingly dry.
Keep an eye out - some large babyhead rocks on the trail line on the downhill side of some of the water bars - not sure how they're getting there 
but best to avoid landing on them.
Excellent riding conditions.

Salvation Tracks update for 10 Oct
I passed by here today and didn't ride the tracks, but... looks like there's been some grading or other work. There was a decent amount of sand from vehicles on the road and the entrance/exit looked to be wider than I remember.
Or then again, perhaps the RFS or someone had just been in there doing a load of training. Either way - it looked nice and smooth!

no major muddy parts-only a few small bits with sun & wind doing its best to dry these up- the rest nice and grippy!

Looking for trails around Gloucester
Apart from Barrington Tops, does anyone know of MTB trails I could try out and report back on when I visit for a long weekend next week around Gloucester/Barrington area? I have ridden Barrington Tops before but I'm sure there must be single track trails around there too. Any suggestions will be appreciated.
Has anyone ridden Awaba or Ourimbah?
did these cop a hammering of rain like Glenrock?-just need to go for a ride!
