Glenrock riding direction?
Is there an accepted direction to ride in Glenrock?, is it clockwise ? or just a free for all & ride with ears wide open & a fingers hovering over brake levers just in case to miss a head on crash?
Anyone checked out the Dam?
Obviously there has been a bit of rain about in the last month or so but the last week has been *mostly* dry and very windy which tends to dry things out around here. Anyone checked out the Dam in the last week and have info about the state that it is in (water wise, I know it needs some love)? I could walk up the road and have a look but then again, nah.

Hey guys,
As you would be aware, Ku-ring-gai Council has recently put some signs up the top of the trail implying that it is an approved bike track. This is however not entirely the case. It was apparently too well built, to justify the cost of destroying it so they put the signs in as a temporary measure.
TWR: Can a DH'er XC? Can an XC'er DH?
Anther nice vid in the series:
In the second half the guys have a cross discipline challenge. So who's the best all round? An XC rider or DH rider?
In the mood (world cup 2010 #5)
If this doesn't get you in the mood for a ride this weekend, nothing will!
The skills these guys have are insane - how did Gwin hold onto that!?
Fantastic clip of the DH world cup round at Val di Sole!
Seat Post Lube
Do you need any special lube for an aluminium seat post into a carbon frame or is normal grease ok?

Any words of advice / caution.
Seat Bottle Opener
Some bikes already have built in bottle openers (shaped into their drop outs for example) but for those without such luxurious frames one can now add this feature to just about any saddle:

Perfect for your SS races.

The usual @ Terrey Hills
The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
Park opposite/beside Terrey Hills shops, corner Booralie Rd/Yulong Ave. Or in the small carpark next to the RFS station & community centre.
Pooh!
I had hoped to have time to get over to Yelllomundee this weekend but sadly that isn't going to be the case now.
Instead I'll be having a blast round the usual trails in Terrey Hills (Duck Hole/Center/Perimeter/Long aka. DH+C+P+L).
Pace will depend on who comes along, but am looking to take no more than 2h30 all up no matter what.
Capertee Challenge 2010
The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
The start/finish area is positioned at Mount Airley which is approximately nine kilometres east of Capertee township via Glen Davis Road (tarred).
Now in it's third year the Capertee Challenge raises money for the Paraplegic Benefit Fund of Australia.
A fun weekend in a unique location, this year the event features two track. 1) The Championship course
and 2)and easier, shorter Social course.
The idea is that riders ride the course in one direction on the Saturday, and then in the reverse direction on the Sunday
