Who is this course for?
Building on from our Knobblies and Trail Bunnies courses, this course takes the experienced rider to new levels. Whether you are a weekend warrior who can tackle some drops/logs, rutted out tracks and/or the occasional step up or techie descent, or a XC racer who wants to refine some technique and maintain momentum .. Trailbreakers will have you leaving your mates behind in your dust.
Newbie
I'm a newbie here, what does "(DH+C+P+L+DH+C)" mean? DH=Downhill, C=Cross Country? P? L?
Cheers

Conditions in Duffy's Forest/Wildflower?
I'd like to go on a bit of a trek around Duffys Forest/Wildflower Garden/Terrey Hills this coming weekend, but...
... given how much water was still around at the Dam yesterday (still only 'Amber' status) I'd imagine those tracks, especially behind the gun club, might be very soggy still.
Anyone been in that area lately?

Even more money for mountain biking in Wales
North Wales has been given £6 million to develop a cycling Centre of Excellence and expand its mountain bike trails, just weeks after South Wales was awarded £5 million to do similar:

Build a bike....
If you were looking to build your own bike what are the best options and resources to complete this ?
At present I'd see the options as :
1) Buy a complete bike - expensive ?
2) Buy all the parts and have the LBS build it for you.
3) Buy the parts and build as much as possible with the LBS doing the tricky stuff.
Resources :
- Books
- YouTube videos
- Maintenance courses - KOM Cyclery run one ?
For those here who have built a bike can anyone provide any advice at all ??
