Rest of Masters 4 podium

Buck's picture

Salty nuts podium

Steve01, Whisperer, Ladytoast and Carlgroover take out the Masters 4. They also did the most laps of any 4 person team I believe.

Pissed and pedalling podium

Mixed 6 winners. Sean, Lozza. Ian, Steve and myself at the presentations. Our female rider had gone home already!

Dirty Trance

My bike needs an overhaul now. All shift cables are clogged with mud making the last lap shifting a hit and miss affair. Also had to replace brake pads front and back.

Muddy Buck

Me after the race finish. Although the rain had stopped by now it was still super muddy out there. The beer was welcome too!

A flying visit

I didn't compete in the event this year, but somehow couldn't stay away... Gazza talked me into scumming out from Hornsby (107km return) to check out the race - initially wasn't keen but the few minutes there made it worthwhile. The scum wasn't all that bad either - but given the amount of flood debris on the road it was clear things at Del Rio were not going to be pretty.

Hi guys, I have never ridden this before and simply want to go and have a look, get from point A to point B and enjoy the morning. I alreasy have 3 others coming with me, 2 of them I know, but the more the mrrier. I guess the only hurdle here is weather based on what has happened over the last 48 hours or so. email me at dean@xyznetworks.net.au if there's anything you want to say, add or know.

Cheers.

Duck Hole/Terrey Hills Trail update for 07 Feb

Status:
Amber/Some Issues

Went for a road ride today but couldn't resist riding down Duck Holes/Terry Hills trail as I was going past it and heading to the same end point... Smiling

Track was wet but ok. Lots of puddles but most could be avoided or jumped over. Sandy bits were hard work pedalling though, but this is one track that handles the rain very well.

Giving this an amber today.

Do you have more information?

Wet again but an awesome result

This will be a short initial post - pretty tired now.....

Crazy weather once again with torrential rain through the night, and fairly constant drizzle through the day. The Salty Nuts (Me, Steve01, Ladytoast and CarlGroover) went at it hard, used tenacity & technical skills to keep momentum up through the wet and slippery technical bits and didn't backoff for a single lap. It paid dividends, because we not only won our class, we beat the open mixed fours & threes for an overall position of 5th overall in the event.
