Crank Brothers Iodine Wheelset
Looking at some new wheels for the Yeti.
Love the look of the Crank Brothers Iodine Wheelset. Anybody had some hands on experience with these wheels.
I mainly ride XC, enduro stuff , no major drops etc. For the $$$ I am expecting a top quality wheelset, both reasonably light weight, but will take some hits.
Feedback appreciated.

Woo hoo - no technical problems
After little training and illness I wasn't sure what to expect. The day seemed pretty warm when Chitts and I lined up for the start and I wasnt feeling 100% so I thought that the best strategy was to try to keep my heart rate at around 160bpm which I know seems to be about the right level for a race situation.
Lupine Lighting Systems
Hi all
Looking in a splurge for Chrissy on some new lights for the bike.
Can anyone give me some 'real' feedback on either the Wilma 7 or the Wilma 5 from Lupine Lighting Systems.
Would be good for someone who has had some hands on experience on either of these systems to provide some feedback on how these systems function, operate, reliability, battery life etc.
For the $$$ I would like to know if I am getting what I am paying for.

Padded short to protect hips
I am thinking of buying shorts with some sort of protection for the hips. Every time i fall i hit my hips and make big bruises really annoying and at this age i don't recover that fast
Any recomendations, anyone has used any sort?
Ride Cascades + Wildflower
Anyone interested in doing Cascades + Wildflower ride at 3-3:30pm tomorrow (Tuesday). The only issue is I am not sure if there is still access behind the Wildflower Garden?
Cheers

Lake Parramatta XC Loop (and Carlingford Link) Tour
The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
Meet at Lake Parramatta Car Park: PARRAMATTA. Turn from Church St, into Burke St, into Illawong Dr.
I'll be on a small shiny 08 Trance.
The ride will not follow the technical walking track around the actual lake. That walking track is busy on weekends with walkers of all ages, and has cliffs. The ride will go from the Car Park to the popular XC loop. It will also include showing where the loop connects with the cycleway that leads to Jenkins Road Carlingford. You can easily ride from Lake Parramatta to Lane Cove National Park (done it). That could be another day.
