Diamondback Rider's
Ok, who here ride's a Diamondback? Cause frankly, i just spent $700 on the Axis Disc. And yeah it's pretty good, it ride's the Manly Dam and Oxford Fall's trails pretty damn well. No it does not have knuckle box (damn), it's got front rst and carbon ceramic disc brakes. 24 speed Shimano gears. Truvativ x-flow crankset, the bottom bracket is pretty average. The seat's nice, the frames alloy. The quick release is handy, as it won't fit in my car any other way. So yeah, please post if you have a Diamondback, or for that matter if you are hopinh or planning to buy one.

Manly Sunday Laps
The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
King Street (near corner with Arana Street), Manly Vale. You know - outside Manly Hydraulics Lab.
Havent ridden Manly for a while so its time to go back.
Looking to do two maybe three laps of the standard route at a fairly relaxed pace.
This is not a training ride so will stop here and there for a bit of a play maybe.
Old World MTB Championships
I wont be there but there might be someone on here able to represent nobmob - Bernd maybe?
Held in Bergen NH, near Schoorl in Holland.
Designed especially for those of you who still love your early mountain bikes (pre–1995), this event will be a time-warp, fun-packed weekend of challenges, retro bike shows and quality riding - all with like-minded people from around the globe!
Terry Hills (one more time)
The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
Park opposite/beside Terrey Hills shops, corner Booralie Rd/Yulong Ave. Or in the small carpark next to the RFS station & community centre.
As Tien deemed Cascades too wet for this Saturday, I have decided to repeat last weeks ride.
Centre (backwards), Waratah, Salvation, Towlers, Elvina, Duck Hole (backwards), then Perimeter/Long tract to complete. Pending how I feel after all that I might go do duckholes/centre one more time as well.
This is a cross-country training ride with moderate speed, with a bit of the black stuff.
Bring plenty of water/food.
Support for 24hr solo
So after a couple of chats with Carlgroover about 24hr racing some months ago Vanina decided she would not mind having a crack at one of these. I, of course ended up being support crew.
I don’t think you really understand what is required by the riders when they undertake one of these "crazy" races. I really didn’t think about how much work was required from the support crew both leading up to, during and post race.
Basically the riders are only focused on riding their bike for 24hrs.

2009 solo 24 hr Nationals
I had such a great weekend I'll certainly be back next year. We had the whole MoB camped in one area which made for an enjoyable time.
CORC did an amazing job of the track and running the race, thanks a lot Guys.
Thank you to the support crew (my family and the NoBMoB clan) who worked tirelessly though out the 24 hours to keep us all fed, watered and the bikes running nicely. I'd bring a bike in filthy due to the rain and when I came back in for it, it was shiny clean and the drive all running sweet, awesome effort!
