Apologies for using Nobmob as my communication means, however I know there are quite a few NobFarkers or Farker mobs if you will. (uhmmm now I know why it got banned Smiling)

found this when I was logging in this morning ... the banners and whatnot don't cut & paste as nice.

MaxFlex Sink

MaxFlex mounted on 'reach around' sink with both gold pad contact area underneath (heat from switcher IC) and top mounted inductor in contact. Works like a charm Smiling

Thick wires are (likely overkill) for power in, thin are control and to LEDs which are lower current.

Career in the Cycling World

Hi Guys,

I am looking for any tips or pointers that you guys may have when it come to entering the big bad and underpaid world of the cycling industry. I would like to start off in wholesale, but will look at retail opps, plus I would love to pick up the skills of a mechanic.

I am over qualified, in my early 30's and love cycling.

MaxFlex Clamp

Below is a preview, click to read the full post

This is my second attempt at a MaxFlex fitting after realising it should not be attached to the LED holder. After removing the previous effort (very lucky to be able to get a hack saw on it) there was some 3mm aluminium still fixed with Arctic thermal epoxy to the gold section on the MaxFlex. That will be attached to the base of this aluminium here.

Gluing Optics

Gluing the optics to LED holder. Note how runny this epoxy is - I don't like it at all, but thankfully it did the job.

The grey thing on top is the perspex lens cover placed there to make sure the centre Khatod lenses stay square.

What happens when the epoxy you're using to make a case mounted tactile switch goes wrong.

Sparrow Hill and Stromlo TRAINING RUN !!!!!

Below is a preview, click to read the full post

This ride turned out to be a great ride for training on long hilly fireroads as i got .... a little lost . i dont know how but i ended up next to the railway line at one point and with the pioneer spirit ....ok , with luck i found a fireroad through the guts of the place which had a huge hill that went forever and eventually rejoined the trail network and i continued on my merry way . And yes the Kangaroos were my only company untill i got back to the carpark , it was pretty full for a monday night and most there were just touching up , like me , on their Mont training .
