Ah, Tien... what a sadistic b@st@rd he is for suggesting this!

A surprising number of suckers willing riders showed up 7am this morning though and off we went. Soon though, the hills ticked by, as did the laps and one by one they fell away until just Tien, myself and another mystery rider (oops... I forget your name, how embarrassing) were left.

Below is a list of excuses for finishing last (of, did I mention, only 3?) pick which one you like the best...

Ride Database Entry:
Red Hill

plan is to do red hill, some technical sections, then head down to the parkway near the meat works, ride the road up to morgan road, then the slippery dip through to gutter ball and then down to deep creek, back to cromer road via bike track around the lake ( long way via jamison park ) back up red hill to the start point.

should be about 30K and about 3 hours, so its not a flat out pace but bring your sports drinks Cool

Here's one for the books. Sorry-I had means or mood to take photos at the time!

On Thursday I was busily sawing off the remains of some fronds from a palm tree(the last 10-12 inches coming out of the trunk that everyone leaves because of the 3-4 inch spikes) as I didn't want my customer to get hurt by the thorns.

red hill and oxford falls

Was looking for some longer rides without driving hours to get there and last weekend did a link of red hill and oxford falls. Started at red hill, down to the parkway just before the meat works and then up to morgan road, the slippery dip trail through gutter and back to red hill via the lake ( longer way via the parkway/narrabeen bridge ), was about 30K or so with a fair bit of uphill.. thinking of doing the same again this Sunday morning.

Anyone else up for a longer local ride ( rather than just laps of X ) and have any alternate ideas for linking up local trails?

cheers

dave
