Pump track in backyard?
When my son (8 y.o.) saw this pic...he said "Hi Dad - can we build that?"

Cheers, Hans

Happiness is a warm shock.
Are you silly enough to commute to work?
Regular Downhill Weekend Shuttles?
My downhill bike is collecting too much dust!
Im looking for a group of 3 or 4+ people to do regular downhill runs with. Like weekly or fortnightly on a weekend at maybe Ourimbah or Oxford Falls.
I'm happy to hire a trailer / van / share petrol costs, etc.
Tyres for races & feedback
I've read reviews of what others are running on Sydney trails, but do you mix it up for races and different conditions? Do you stick to the tyres that you're used to the "feel of"?
Anyone like to share the combination of tyres they're planning for the next event and why. Also later on how they performed.
Perhaps then we can all share from each others knowledge (especially from someone like Whisperer) and all can be well prepared for the conditions.
I'd love to run this as a poll but the combinations are too many.
Car-Free Suburb Planned for Melbourne, Australia
Yet more stuff happening in Vic that NSW should be doing?

Zone 9 is where the eco suburb might be.
Ah... doh!
But it’s all pie in the sky just yet.
Third Rider Required for WWS Yara this Sunday!
Greetings all!
Don & I will be at the Yarramundee WWS on Sunday. Looking for a third rider to join us in a trio.
Anyone game?
A new game - spot the MTBer scumming it, AKA The Undercover Riders
Having recently begun commuting Nth Sydney to Nth Ryde I find myself a) bored brainless and b) amazed at how many cyclists there are on the cycleway.
In an effort to relieve the tedium of the 13k ride I have devised a game to amuse myself - spot the MTBer doing training/undercover as a scummer. There are a number of attributes you can look at that give clues as to the likelihood, all unreliable, but anyhow.
Charge Duster SS gear ratios
Thanks to K-Rudd, I've finally been given the green light to get a new bike for my bumpy work commute. After much deliberation, I've decided to go with a Charge Duster SS: http://www.chargebikes.com/products/bikes/detail...
I would like a little bit of help please, to decide on what gear ratio to use so that I can get the right chainring sorted.
