no on trail status

G'day, I'm wondering about the trail status indication on the front page, is the information about trail status from riders or sourced from the local councils?

Terrey Hills update for 28 Jun

Status:
Amber/Some Issues

Rode perimeter from the Japanese school and long trail. Some large puddles that are unavoidable but otherwise firm and fast. From Nerang to the school will undoubtably be a quagmire if my last ride is anything to go by.

Bit by bit. Little by little.

So, I entered this race again this year to test how I have progressed over the 14 months since I first got on a MTB.

Last year I finished in just over 1 hour 15 minutes and going into this one I really wanted to come in under the hour.

Though I missed out by 67 seconds on that goal, there are other ways to measure progress. Most importantly for me was that, unlike last year, I rode every climb and didn't stop once.

May not sound much to many here, but it is a quiet victory for me.

Thanks to the organizers for a lovely little event.

Recent rain has tempered the sand perfectly, but in the traffic today eye protection was still highly recommended.

Quarry Road Track (Berowra Valley) update for 27 Jun

Status:
Amber/Some Issues

Track was mostly dry today, just a small amount of runoff/ standing water. I made the status "Amber" to remind everyone that officially you need to gain permission to ride this track, because it passes through the rifle range land. The guy who issues the permits told be that as long as you're off the track by 9am you're ok (they don't do any shooting before 9am).
