Some nice water bars on sections of this. Pretty steep at the South end.

Nice firetrail. Very steep at the bottom (West) and pretty rough that end too.

From where the trail leave the Anembo Reserve loop this is seriously rough and rocky and steep at each end.

Small and sandy firetrail loop. Loads of horses use this as there's a small horse arena thing in the centre of this loop.

Working Week Series '09?

Has anybody heard anything about the WWS 8hr events. The website isn't up. I was looking forward to doing these events again this year, but I haven't heard a thing.
Has Bright Orange Events folded or are they just a little slow to get organised?
Any information would appreciated.
Thanks.

Here is a real mountain bike ride in the dark with technical obstacles and nice single track come out on Wednesday night for a blast around Menai.

This is a technical ride so good lights and some competent off road night riding skills are required this will generally be a social to medium paced ride depending on who turns up but we will always wait for the slower riders on the night with that in mind you will still need a reasonable level of bike fitness so its probably not a suitable outing for absolute beginners.

Firetrail running on the East side of Bantry Bay. This is pretty much the border of Garigal National Park (to the West of here).

Short firetrail that goes to a nice lookout over Bantry Bay. There is a walking track (Bay Track) from the end of it but I have walked this and trust me when I say it would be pointless to try and ride it. It goes to a wharf that has many stairs out back to the track by Wakehurst Parkway.
