What a Race!
7:23
Happy with that for my 2nd ever race and first ever 100.
Had a stupid mechanical at 10km with the jockey wheel completely seizing up. I had to take the thing off 3 times and put me firmly in last place at the back with the fatties.. Wasn't quite shifting correctly but luckily managed to do some mid ride chain tensioning and amazingly enough got it shifting relatively well.
yet another great event
7.12 feeling very happy with that
considering the complete lack of training well if im true full none really. Plus the large amount of pain killers to forget about the aback pain worked a treat
well for about 4hrs until I ran out
.
If your not out there doing it,

Shifter cables - recommendations
My rear shifting has turned to crap in the last ride, and it seems the shifter cable housing is probably the culprit. So, I'm interested to find better cables and outers.

Decent towbar bike rack?
I'm on the hunt for a decent towbar bike rack, and to make it interesting I need to be able to get it for tomorrow morning for the drive down to Mogo. I'm thinking either my LBS or one of the car shops. Has anyone bought one from one of those places that can recommend it?
Cheers
gazza's out! free entry available,
just got back from the physio and seen my xrays. ive got a thoratic scoliosis and a misaligned pelvis!( forgive my spelling tien ) basically, i havn't looked after my back and need to stretch a lot more and do yoga. my muscles are so tense that they've pulled my back out one too many times. ive been ignoring my backpain for years and am now in the early stages of osteo arthritis.ive got three weeks of intensive chiro then a lot more conditioning to strengthen my core and loosen up my hamstrings, back and shoulders.
Mogo - mud tyres
A choice of Maxxis Crossmarks, Maxxis Ignitor and Kenda Small Block 8, all UST and 2.1, which would you recommend for a rear tyre? (front has Ignitor already)
I am thinking Ignitor may be the best of 3 as it has big blocks wide apart... since Mogo is going to be a mud pit.
Thanks.
Tien.
