Is a spew at the end worth a time bonus?!
Just a personal record to keep me motivated to keep getting out there and improving the fitness. First time I tried this hill 9 months ago I couldn't get up this hill without stopping 3 times with the feeling I was going to see my breakfast sprayed all over the fire trail.
What number comes after 6 (as in - Olympic cycling Gold Medals)?
I'm going to say it since no Aussie is going to mention it - what a phenomenal and inspirational performance from the British road & track cycling teams in the Olympics. If you're British, of course..
What next - a podium finish in the MTB events?
Huzzah!
Feeling a lot fitter than 6 months ago...
Introduced a mate (A geezer from Bath) to the MTB experience and he quickly posted a faster time than me round Manly Dam. Finally got the title back from him after some hard training in the cascades. Thought I'd have to get one back for the Aussies after we fell behind GBR on the Beijing medal tally.
Please help me with my school project
Hi my name is Tyson my dad is Dez and this is me :
I need some help with answering some questions for my school project for geography on land management specifically in the Oxford Falls region. Here are the questions thanks.
Ed: If you could complete the form here, that would be tops:
1. What is your name.
2. What is your age group.
3. How long have you been riding.
4. Have you noticed any changes in the trails you have ridden on.
Do you own a Garmin Edge device? Has it broken?
Smiths Creek Track
Horrible out and... erm... just look at the climb back!
Perimeter Trail
Straight forward fire trail from Cullamine Road to Nerang Avenue.
This is around 7Km long and has markers all along it's length. Km zero on the track as you ride being Km zero on this profile (ie. the West end by Cullamine Road).
There is a small parking area at the West end (Km zero) of this trail and it's perfect for beginners from either end.
Knight Rider GPS
I can't believe it, but seems true. Here's the perfect GPS for your Raleigh Grifter!

...those LED’s on each side not only sweep just like the real thing but also sync to voice...
Saturday Morning Training
The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
Glenbrook Station Carpark
This is a hard and fast training ride starting at 6.00am sharp for a quick up and down the Oaks before the day starts. There will be no stopping or waiting at all apart from toilet breaks if needed. The pace will be moderate to fast with an estimated overall time from the carpark at Glenbrook to the top gate at Woodford and back to the carpark of 3 hours.
The route will be the standard Oaks up and back with the fun sniggle at the end there are no detours or side trips of the main trail planned for this ride.
