The northbound Forest way cycle path lane has been taken away for 500m on the highest speed part of the road. So expect to be pushed into the lane where cars are doing 80kph plus just after the Kameroi school. Seriously WTF

Viva last Kowalski
The last Kowalski race leaves a lasting memory of being one of the toughest 50km I've done but something that I will miss dearly.
This is my 4th Kowalski race and 3rd half kowalski, probably my favorite marathon event out of all the races that I've done.
Manly Dam Trail Maintenance this Saturday 21st Oct
Meet at 8am Sat morning at the tennis courts on Roosevelt Ave in Allambie Heights for a short walk into the trail above the 19th hole
as usual bring a hat, sunscreen and some gardening gloves
we'll be working on drainage improvements to this section

SATURDAY NIGHT MTB SHENANIGANS – TRAILS & ALES
The next full moon falls on a Saturday night… how good is that… get a little ride in followed by a couple of beers & a feed at the tavern. Who’s in?
THE RIDE: Terrey Hills, Perimeter & Long Trail (18.5km out & back).
This is a social ride to suit everyone… new riders more than welcome! The more the merrier.
We’ll go at a social pace and be finished in time for last food orders at the Terrey Hills Tavern.

The Oaks update for 06 Oct
Rode up from the car park via Euroka and Bennett's Ridge to The Oaks and back down the sniggle (plus a detour via Pisgah Ridge FT). All very dry, a few trees down on Bennett's but would only be a problem going down on a flying night ride, sniggle is good all the way.

Our local Gahnia track is in much need of some attention and love. We need a handful of volunteers willing to move some rock and materials that have already been dropped into place along the track.
Due to the nature of this specific work we only need about 20 volunteers, and those who come should expect a fair amount of heavy lifting. A post dig BBQ and drinks will be provided to all volunteers who come help.
