Whippet, Simon and I are planning a cruise around Oxford Falls... A fun cruise! Thinking the easy way down the downhill, nursery rhymes, (probably powerlines ...I KNOW!! Peter!!!) and then moon rocks etc – of course that could all change on the day!
However! we are starting at 6.30 because the guys have to get home to their children...

Will be riding this sunday with a canadian friend who is fairly new to mountain biking so will be taking a fairly cruisy pace except for the long down hills which are much to fun to be going slow on. we will be driving from Ranwich very early sunday morning (have room for one more if anybody wants a lift.) with the plan being to catch the glenbrook train at 0653 to woodford, may also look at having a swim when we get to the bottom before riding back up the road to the train station. the more the merrier

Cascades - Quarry Track Climb

Ride Database Entry:
Cascades
Exact Distance:
0.66Km

One for the mountain goats. Start your timer crossing the creek bottom of the Quarry trail (on the right, here) and stop it when you get to the first gate.

This is about 90 metre vertical climb in 660m distance, nice little sprint and great for training, rinse and repeat! Eye-wink
