Hey,
After a nice hard ride through Galston Gorge yesterday arvo (Tuesday) Shano and I are going to do a ride this weekend at Terry Hills. We are planning on doing it twice as we are training for the Brindabella challenge social ride....

Highland fling review 2006
Well what an event. There was quite a lot of reference to 109Km this year, even from Huw at the presentation. I thought is was harder than last year, probably for two reasons, 1. it WAS harder and 2. I think in hindsight I might not have been as well prepared as last year.
This year we stayed in a nice big house "Inverard". The crew (Craig, Jemima, Christine, Will, Sergio, Sharon, Dwight and Justin) had arrived by dinner time Saturday night. I had decided at 7:00pm that the chain issue had to be fixed so off to the boys at legend cycles for a new middle sprocket. While I was away dinner was being prepared. A rather large amount of pasta was cooked up for the eight hungry mouths. Huge logistics doing 3 courses for 8 people!!! There was a stack of yummy food full of carbs and sugar. Couple of beers along the way to add to the carb loading. 500ml cans I might add. We were all asleep by about 10:30pm.
Wisemans Ferry ride
I was planning on getting a bunch of riders out to Wisemans Ferry this Saturday morning (the 18th), which should be great fun. I have never ridden out there before, and I am looking forward to it very much. Lots of people say it is great. But I am not sure how many of my mates are going to go yet. But will know more later in the week.
My question... does anyone know of any good weblinks (hotlinks) you could direct me to that explain the Wisemans Ferry ride in detail? As this ride / trail does not appear to be on this website. I just wanted to do a bit of research before we get out there.

RESTRICTIONS APPLY - KEEP OUT OF THE RIFLE RANGE - CHECK SIGNS
Bring plenty of water and a few snacks, remember hills are you friends because without climbing them you would not be going downhill.
Be prepared for a hill fest this out and back trail has plenty to offer even if it is only firetrail. Give it a try and see for yourself.

Manly Dam Tour
This Sunday I'll be showing a guy around Manly Dam for (his) first time. The dude is relatively fit [ allegedly
] so although this won't be full speed we won't be taking it that easy. There will probably be stops for technical practice along the way - my mate is new to off road riding so will need this. Anyhow - so anyone interested in this sort of ride please post a reply and come along.
Where: Outside Hydrolics Lab, Corner of King/Arana, Manly Vale
When: 8:30am, Sunday 19 Nov
What: Medium paced riding of the Dam circuit with stops for practice and directions along the way.
