Wallaroo Rubble

On the Wallaroo arm, plenty of loose rocky rubble (up to cricket ball size) here so grip isn't the best.

Wallaroo Jeff

Jeff on one of the steeper drops on the Wallaroo Arm. It doesn't look much as usual, and to be honest if you stay in the centre here you can't go far wrong.

Wallaroo View

View from the end of the Wallaroo Track. It's a bit overgrown here so don't come this way just for what you see here.

Nice out and back firetrail where the only climbs to speak of are short, steep, and some suprisingly technical.

Morgan Road, Power Lines

Below is a preview, click to read the full post

Has anybody ridden "Power Lines" at Morgan Road recently, ie last six months. The Sydney Trails Book I have says it has some steep and progressively bigger shutes the further into the trail you go, but this review is atleast three years old. I am trying to gauge what it is like before I commit to it and the associated long uphill back out of it.

In case you have explored it without knowing its name, "Power Lines" comes off the main fire trail about half way between the carpark and the flying club fence. It drops off onto the the right side and its start also doubles as the start to nursery

Paths coming...

Someone's been busy with Google Earth. A few paths have been added and am sure there's more on the way.

Oxford Falls for example (click to enlarge):

Actually, Oxford Falls is a good example for a number of reasons, not least of which is that I'm not too sure on the names of half these trails - please post a comment with your corrections ;)

Anyhow, download the full file here: NoBMoB KMZ. Google Earth is now also available for the Mac apparently, but for those without this great app. there supposedly is a way to get this info to appear in your browser with Google Maps. Might play with that later... any requests?
