Terrey Hills update for 05 Oct
Never seen it drier (but I've only ridden it 4 or 5 times). Perimeter fairly dry from start to long, just the odd splash and some wet slippery rock faces to watch out for. Big bogs on long track slowly shrinking. Green I recon.

Very dry,could actually do with abit of rain as its really dusty and loose through some of those fast corners-what an epic place though!

Duty on a bike
Has anyone here ever bought a bike from overseas,and if so what sort of costs are incurred when it arrives?I thought you might pay 10% on it which would still make it reasonable,just wondering if there are any hidden extras,cheers
looking to find a route from Syd cbd to French's forest
Never done downhill biking before just finished building my rig and now I'm looking to tear it up.
I live in the city in centennial park area and I would love to know how to get there without a car because my bike does not fit lol
Also do I need to buy gear like armour and such? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

LOST yesterday arvo (Sat. 4 Oct), 5pm – my front wheel in Leura main street, in front of the bottleshop (Leura Cellars, awesome range of beers btw). It's a 26" Mavic Crossride.

Wanted: Sram X9 or X0 9 speed shifter
Hi all.
I'm looking for a 9 speed X9 or X0 shifter. Just the rear please. It's for a half-arsed project so I'm not looking to spend heaps. Looking at maybe $40-ish for an X0, and maybe $20-ish for an X9.
