Guess what I did...
Went for a ride last night.
Check my route and try and guess what I did...
Cheers,
Mike.
Thursday night laps of the dam
The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
King Street (near corner with Arana Street), Manly Vale. You know - outside Manly Hydraulics Lab.
Going to do a couple of laps of the dam again.
Let me know if you're interested in joining me.
BC Bike Race 2015
Well I got up at some ungodly hour this morning in an attempt to get an early bird registration to the race. I failed.
Despite completing the required info in 11 minutes all of the A, B and C early birds were gone... Astounding.
So a couple of hundred bucks poorer than I budgeted for I hit the register button anyway.
BB30 / PF30 Compatibility
I'm considering a custom bike build but can't make sense of the bottom bracket situation. I understand the different types but can't work out if the crank arms are compatible with all BB30 and PF30's? Reason I ask is I can't find a PF30 specific crank. All cranks seem to be BB or GXP (I figure the GXP needs a GXP BB).
I won't be putting the BB in myself but still need to know which cranks to buy... If I can get a custom build within budget (which is gonna be hard).

Singapore
So I'm on a school exchange to singapore for the next 5 weeks, and I'm already missing my bike.
I understand there's a small scale bike park with a few trails, does anybody know of any riding, including this, and anywhere i can hire a decent bike?
I know it's a longshot but i might as well ask
Cheers
Chris

How do you clean the dust wiper on your fork
Hi there
Bit of a noob question but how do you clean around your dust wipers on your fork? Is it ok to hose it with a garden hose on low pressure? Will water seep into the fork?
Thanks
Central Coast Ourimbah Mountain Bike Club XC Round 6
The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
Enter via Red Hill Rd, Ourimbah State Forest. On your right will be 'TreeTops' for the kids and it's large-ish carpark. Carry on past there and the first small clearing which is were parking used to be, and is where the 'Browns' single track turns (you might see riders on your left here). Please do not park in this car park.
Parking and official trail head is now designated a further 350m or so up the road where there is a larger area. There's a CCOMTB notice board here by the trail entrance (on the left as you drive up the hill). Park up nose to curb or as directed.
The Ourimbah cross country track is very popular with local riders and a growing number of riders from Sydney and Newcastle areas. The track is usually set between 7 and 11 kilometres for club events but can be shortened to 5 Kilometres and extended to 12 kilometres to suit conditions.
This years Club Championship Series will be run over 10 rounds of varying structure and trail routing. See the website for information about each round in the week preceeding the race.
XC Race day Fees are $15.00 plus an additional $20for an MTBA day license if you are not an MTBA member.
Withdrawn: 2007 Giant Trance 2
Note that this is "Withdrawn" so is here for archive purposes only.
Time to sell my first steed that got me hooked and has led to bigger and better things! I learnt to ride clipless on this bike around Manly Dam and the scuff marks on the frame are testament to this, mostly at near stationary pace. This bike has not been ridden since May 2009 when I started to ride my Reign. I had it serviced in April 2009 then rode the Dirtworks 100km where it performed like a dream.
Size Small - 16" frame.
