Mt Annan v Ourimbah
Hi All,
How would everyone rate Mt Annan v the Ourimbah track from Rnd 3?
is Mt Annan as technical in terms of climbs and descents?
the profile map shows some large'ish climbs and downs, are they as technical as the Drop Off and that horrible climb up through that dark bit of forest where there were rocks and a log (whihc i said hello to) on teh side.

How big a hit should a helment take before you replace it?
I came off at Ourimbah on the weekend, ate some dirt but also felt the brain box take a whack into the dirt. Its an old helment.

Riding on shared paths
My riding route yesterday took me along a marked shared path (one of the very few that has been built totally separate from the road in my area) which is normally not a problem however yesterday I had a very near miss with a pedestrian.
Terrey Hills update for 22 Jun
Usual wet spots are in place but otherwise the trail is nice and dry.
Do you have more information?

Trail recommendations please - for Hunter Valley
Hi All
As per my other post Im up in the Hunter area soon for work. I'm planning on riding the James Estate Winery and probably will ride the Singleton trails as they are close to where I'm staying. Thats going to be Day 1 .. I'm trying to work out Day 2.
I will be on my Dually XC but might take the AM.
I'm tossing up a few options, I'm keen for any feedback.
- If I can get a shuttle up Putty Rd I was thinking of doing Old Bulga Rd.
- Dungog Common
- Awaba
Trail recommendations please - for Newcastle (Glenrock or Jesmond)
I'm up in Newcastle soon with an hour or two to kill after after a meeting close to the City.
I was planning on taking the Dually XC but may take the AM bike.
Would you recommend Glenrock or Jesmond/John Hunter?
