4WD lights for your bars?
I'm all set for lights, but...
Was looking for something completely different (OK - not completely - LED lights for a trailer board) and came across these:

Modular lights for the bars (not sure I'd put this on my helmet)? Claimed 800lm for $40AUD.
Worth a look if you want something on the cheap.
Pushing harder
Personal record! Start point at wakehurst. Getting to know some of the better lines to take through the technical sections. Starting to have a bit more confidence to tackle some of the bigger drops and really lean on those corners. When a hill defeats me I get off and sprint up the hill rather than slog it! This bike is the ducks nuts!

These parts came on my brand new bike but I have no need for them. Never used, I built the bike out of the box then ordered new parts and took these off.

The entrance of General Liberator San Martin Drive is a mess and only rideable uphill if you are Chris Akrigg.

Green! Sandy in spots, with lots of babyhead rocks on the back end of the steeper water bars. The rain this morning settled the sandy bits a little.

At a Glance
Events only. A fast and flowy XC track that has been tested using 26" and 29" bikes, male and female riders, 13-60 year olds, a cyclocross and one crazy guy on a fatbike.
The venue is also a working farm so there should be plenty to do for the rest of the family.
Terrey Hills update for 04 Jan
Rode Perimeter & Long today. Pretty warm but still a couple of spots of standing water in the usual places.
Rest of the track is getting really sandy and loose though. Pinch on Long Track has zero grip - unless you're in the fire truck that was there!
