Parking

There's plenty of parking at Glenbrook train station. While this is a short road ride to the trail head, it's handy for a visit to local shops pre/post ride or taking the train to the top of the trail.

Since changing to tubeless 4 years ago, I had my first ever puncture today. The Stans sealed it - momentarily, before more spurting, and more sealing, and so on.

Lane Cove National Park update for 16 Oct

Status:
Green/Open

Rode from Canoon Rd entry through to Belinda Cres and then Browns Waterhole this morning and, as Greigy used to say, its 'hord and forst'. Every stick looked like a black snake this morning for some reason Smiling

Yellomundee Regional Park update for 16 Oct

Status:
Amber/Some Issues

Track is OK following a WSMTB inspection on Saturday 12 Oct. However, the strong winds on Sunday 13 Oct have brought a tree down across the track just after Hidden Bridge (ie in the southern area, after the Moto-X track, and bridge as you head back north).

I expect the wizards will remove it soon. Keep an eye on the WSMTB FB page.

Manly Dam update for 16 Oct

Area:
Manly Dam
Status:
Green/Open

Went for a lap yesterday afternoon and as expected, the dam was fairly dry. As mentioned in the previous update, that tree near the bowling club has since been removed which is great.

Get out and ride before it gets to hot again!

P.S Watch out for snakes. When out riding the other week, my mate and I almost ran over a big red belly. They love this warmer weather

Data collection: what's your stem stack height?

Below is a preview, click to read the full post

Hi Team

I'm hoping to borrow 5 mins of your time for you to measure and post the stack height of your stems. Just to be explicit, the stack height in this case being the height of the clamping area that grips the steerer tube, i.e. the bit between your top cap and the spacers under the stem. Can you please measure and post the height and the model of stem?
