Does anyone have any recommendations for the best 26" tyres to use for the Fling? Thanks.

Sharpie on sunnies
I was bored and couldn't stand anymore my white sunglasses (from Northwave). So yesterday I went *bananas* on them and customised it with a Sharpie and some nail polish

Cascades update for 04 Aug
Wet in places still with some large puddles on the St Ives side.
Had nothing in the tank today... had to walk a large section of Quarry Track. Embarassing.
On the upside, St Ives singletrack was awesome. 
Noticed some moto tracks on the western end that were fresh, probably between our outward and return journeys. Hopefully not the start of a trend we need to deal with.

Yellomundee Regional Park update for 04 Aug
The trails at Yellomundee are in top condition - but please note:
HORSE RIDING at Yellomundee, Sunday 11 August (10am – 3pm approx): A horse riding group will be using Yellomundee Regional Park at that time. Mountain bike riders should always give way to horses. Please ride responsibly and:
- Approach horses slowly
- Stop about 10 – 15 metres away, and let the rider know you are there by voice
- Wait until you are called past
- Ride slowly past

North Turramurra update for 04 Aug
First training ride for the kanangra classic in October this morning with @oatleylad. All dry except for two or three muddy bits in the lead up to the single track section. Beautiful day for a ride as well.
Jubes is enjoying a revival with the recent works completed, in all the time I've been through here I've never seen anyone on the track. Today there were 10 - 15 kids on the skills, pump and single track. We did a few laps of the single track, nice and smooth.
